Seattle University School of Theology and Ministry is partnering with the Pluralism Project at Harvard University to add Seattle, WA and the Pacific Northwest to the list of select cities and regions charted by On Common Ground 2.0, a web-based program that explores religious diversity in the context of the changing religious landscape of the United States.
This tool “employs Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to map the religious landscape of select cities and regions across the country, integrating census data and active links to organizational websites.” (Launching On Common Ground, Whittney Barth).
This collaborative project will assist in the building of a topographical infrastructure that will support the development of interreligious dialogue in the Pacific Northwest.
